Large mid 20th century (1966) landscape, Bryan Senior, born 1935. Oil on canvas in a thin gilded frame. Originally bought directly from the artist by Elliot Philipp an eminent gynaecologist and obstetrician. Wonderful execution and colour palette.

Bryan Senior was born in Bolton, Lancashire. Studied at Clifton College, Cambridge University and Chelsea School of Art. Lived in London from 1957. Won Clare Prize, Cambridge, other awards included Greater London Council Spirit of London in 1981 and Druce-Constable in 1986. Had a wide range of solo shows, including Crane Kalman and Fieldborne Galleries, Architectural Association, Ashgate Gallery in Farnham and abroad. CASW, Nuffield Foundation, Financial Times, Hampstead Museum and Bolton Museum and ARt Gallery hold examples of his work.
