A wonderful Italian portrait of a lady. Oil on canvas in an antique frame. The original canvas has been rescued and re-laid onto another canvas. Some minor damage to the canvas but this does not detract from the work. Scribed and dated verso 'Stefano Chianlore, Pillone Regio, 1824'.
